Our Services
Murilla Kindergarten offers a comprehensive and enriching early childhood education experience. As a 5 day approved kindergarten, we operate weekly each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday providing for consistent learning opportunities.
Additionally, we offer the flexibility of a 6th day, ensuring a seamless transition for children and accommodating the needs of local families.
With experienced teachers promoting an engaging curriculum in a nurturing environment, Murilla Kindergarten creates a foundation for your child’s social, emotional and cognitive development, helping to prepare them for a successful educational journey.
We strive to accommodate children of various ages and eligibility, offering places to both kindergarten-eligible kids and non-eligible three-year-olds, subject to availability.

Marnie Leahy
Teaching Director
Marnie, our accomplished Teaching Director, brings a wealth of expertise in rural early education. With a Bachelor of Education specialising in early childhood education, she understands the unique challenges faced by rural families firsthand, having grown up on a farm herself. Marnie’s journey began as a school-based trainee, earning a Certificate 3, and her passion for children’s growth led her to pursue further education while teaching in various Early Childhood Centers. In 2022, she became the Teaching Director at Murilla Kindergarten, where her leadership and expertise enhance our educational programs. Marnie’s rural background, extensive education, and unwavering dedication make her a valuable asset, ensuring high-quality early childhood education for our community.
Karen Belleville
Teaching Assistant
With over 17.5 years of experience in the field, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team at Murilla Kindergarten. Her dedication and passion for early childhood education shine through in her interactions with the children and her commitment to their growth and development. Karen has a remarkable ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments, fostering a love for learning in each child.
